Professional appointments
Full professor of real estate and finance at Cornell since July 2023, after serving as associate professor (2013–2023) and assistant professor (2007–2013). He was a research fellow at UC Berkeley’s Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics from 2002 to 2007 and worked at Goldman Sachs Asset Management in New York and Deloitte Consulting in Beijing before academia.
